How Will You Use Pantone’s 2022 Color of the Year in Your Content Marketing Campaign?

The year 2022 is full of 💜 for creatives and content marketing professionals. Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022, Very Peri, encourages inventiveness and creativity. If you’re a small business, there’s nothing better than a bit of inventiveness to invigorate customer demand.

But before we get started, be sure to read why Pantone created Very Peri for 2022.

We couldn’t agree more, so we created two new templates you can use to celebrate this year’s color of the year. Here are some of our ideas on how you can use Very Peri in your next marketing campaign.

For the interior decorator

It’s remarkable what an interior designer can do with a single color. Have you ever designed an entire room around periwinkle? Show off what you can do with a single color as an interior designer. Draft a concept using Very Peri and share it with your audience.

For the psychological product marketer

Place your products on an elegant and luxurious backdrop. Since periwinkle is in the family of both blue and violet, it emotes a sense of calm (from the color blue) and luxury (from purple). Work with a company like Soona to get your product shots on a sleek periwinkle background and see how your customers react.  

For the iron chef

Surprisingly there are some excellent periwinkle-colored foods: ice cream, purple sprouting broccoli, purple potatoes, cabbage, eggplant, mangosteen, elderberries. So add a bit of periwinkle to your rotating menu, then create a clever promotion for a secret menu to get more customers through the door. Feeling generous? For the agile agency

Have you been put on mute by your favorite clients? Flex your creative muscles and send them a Very Peri greeting. Let them know this is the year to take a creative risk with, who better than, your creative agency. Does your SaaS product have a sleek, customizable user interface? Many interfaces, like Google Chrome, are becoming highly customizable. Create a social campaign to share a periwinkle version of your interface and remind your users how fun it is to give your product a custom touch.

In honor of Very Peri, paint your feed periwinkle. Have a conversation with your followers about being creative and innovative. Ask them about their creative ventures and promote your favorite ideas.
